God can Heal a Broken Heart but He has to have all the Pieces.

Isaiah 40:31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength, they will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Will You Be Ready?

Today's inspiration is going to come from Right from the Heart 1 minute daily devotions. http://www.rightfromtheheart.org/.
"For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now." - Romans 8:22

Things just ain't what they're supposed to be. Consider man's violence against man, the animal kingdom's survival of the fittest, or pollution poisoning our air and streams. And it's incredible how the earth, with all its beauty and wonder, can become a destructive force against itself through earthquakes, volcanoes, hurricanes, and floods.
The Bible says, "...the whole creation groans and suffers the pain of childbirth." See, in the beginning, before man sinned, everything was in sync. There was such peace on earth that even man and animals were vegetarians. There was no killing of any kind. But, now the earth has entered into a period that God likens to a mother giving birth, and, like childbirth, things will get worse before they get better.
All creation longs for things to be made right, and one day it will be - the day when Jesus returns. It will be a time of salvation and judgment. Judgment will be for those who are not right with God, and salvation for those who are. His arrival will usher in a new age of harmony and peace on earth. Won't it be great? If you're ready, yes. If you're not, no. The key question for you is, "Will you be ready?" The only way to be ready is through faith in Jesus Christ.

After reading it this afternoon, it made sense to me to share it with you.
I will not hide the fact that I have a huge dislike for gun policy in America. Most people who know me already know that. I understand it is our freedom to own or not own a gun but the problem comes when you let those who do not NEED to own a gun, have a gun. As the person who decided to take my brother's life did in January of this year. There are too many unregistered guns on the streets. And guns are a huge contributor in murder/homicide and the fact that things just ain't what they are supposed to be. Guns were not meant to harm each other without just cause. But just turn on the news and you can see 1 or 2 murders that have taken place that night/day. Ever since my brother's murder, I have felt a strong passion to open a non profit for Victims of Violent Crime, I hope to one day accomplish that goal. Psalms 33:5 The LORD loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love.
Psalms 32:10 Many are the woes of the wicked, but the LORD's unfailing love surrounds the man who trusts in him.

It is a shame that we have turned against all morals into acting like animals to each other. And guns are not the only way we do that. We hurt each other with our words, our actions, and our motives. We are all suffering the pain of childbirth and we can only keep faith that the day will soon come when it will all be made right again. But the question of the day is "Will you be ready?" when it comes. When the heavens open wide and light shines brighter than before, where we can fly like wings on eagles, soar through the mountain tops and see a place so glorious our eyes will not believe. Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

But while we are here we must remember, as another blogger told her story today and opened eyes to see that each moment here is a gift to be cherished. So we must cherish one another and not let our differences get in the way of our love, God's love, an unfailing, unchanging love. Time is truly a gift that we are given and though life gets in the way and is often hectic, we have to sometimes take time to stop and smell the roses. Psalms 143:8

Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,
for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul.
Remember to be thankful and allow our thoughts to be fixated not on what we see today but on eternity. We must prepare ourselves daily for what is to come. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Cor 4:18.
Since it is November, I have asked my daughter what she is thankful for that day. Last night, she was thankful for Grandma, Grandaddy, and Uncle Will! Thought they would like that!! And mommy is very thankful for them too!
With Love,
