God can Heal a Broken Heart but He has to have all the Pieces.

Isaiah 40:31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength, they will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Is Your Relationship Right?

Did you know that not only do we have to have faith in God but God has faith in us? And God's faithfullness is a resource we must rely on because it never changes.

Numbers 23:19 God is not a man that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind
Does he speak and not act?
Does he promise and not fulfill?
God gives all of himself without holding back. We must realize what God does for us so we can do the same for each other. Jeremiah 31:3 The LORD appeared to us in the past,[a] saying:
   “I have loved you with an everlasting love;
   I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.

Psalm 25:10 All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful toward those who keep the demands of his covenant
God does not change his mind because he does not have the same afflictions that we do. We must have a good vertical relationship (with God) in order to have a horizontal one (with each other).
God's love is also sacrificial. Our circumstances change but God never will. In order to have good relationships, we must also make sacrifices. Our own selfishness is what keeps us from experiencing joy and happiness with each other, whether in our family, friendships, marriage, or with co-workers. Proverbs 19:21 Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails. Make it your purpose to please God and in turn you will please others. We learn to please God by getting to know him better. God smiles when we please him. So make it your purpose today to make God smile!

Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
With Love,
