Quotes to uplift the
hurting…
Do not stand at my grave and weep"
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
... I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

I would rather live
my life as if there
is a God,
And die to find out
there isn't, than

there is.

Heather, I come to your blog often. I find the poems and encouraging words hopeful. My son and his fiance were killed in a fire on April 23, 2011. i am sorry about your brother and all that your family went through. Like you, I'm trying to find 'my way'...it is hard. I just wanted to let you know that your blog still brings me encouragement. Blessing to you.
