God can Heal a Broken Heart but He has to have all the Pieces.

Isaiah 40:31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength, they will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

What I heard and saw today

I got a prayer request today from a woman at my husband's work about a family who lost their 3 year old little girl Sunday. Her dad had said he was taking her and her brother to chuck-e-cheese. The little girl got so excited she started jumping up and down on the bed. Well she fell off and hit the end table right on her temple. This happened on Saturday and she passed Sunday.
On my way to work this afternoon I saw what looked like a flat bed trailer that could have ran off the road. Police were everywhere. Upon closer investigation I see a motorcycle lying scrunched under the wheel. My heart dropped for both of these things I have heard and seen. The guy driving the motorcycle was sitting up against something so I could tell it wasn't as bad as it had looked.
By gods grace the guy was saved and by his provision that little girl is with him in heaven.
we never know what is waiting for us around the corner but by his strength we are carried. And by his might we are able to push forward.

  1. This is such a sad, sad, terrible thing for anyone to experience - loss of a child. Sharing your prayers for that poor family.
However, this made me think of a post that I read just today:http://lovingtheleast.blogspot.com/

I am still digesting this in my head and in my heart, but I feel like I need to share this with you.

  2. that's crazy! Some days it seems the enemy is all around. I will pray for both of those stories and believe God to comfort, bring peace, and joy to the family having to live without their precious one.
I'd like to invite you to join me for thankful thursday today!
    Hope to see you there
