WOW, we have been so busy lately celebrating the birth of Jesus and the birth of our little Zoe!
The girls had a fun trip to ride Priscilla the pig at Macy's. Ava was a little skeptical at first, but of course, mommy never steers her wrong and she ended up LOVING it!! Zoe on the other hand was ready to go!
We celebrated at Ava's school with a party making ornaments and cookies! We had a busy weekend before Christmas celebrating with the Saylors and the Grijalva's. Ava and Zoe got to see their great aunts and cousins they rarely see and we had a nice visit with Annilee who has never seen Zoe. We then got to celebrate with Nana and Tata and the cousins. It was such fun to see them all playing together! Zoe and Nate were happy to have someone their size to play with. Then Christmas Eve service at church Ava got to go into the BIG church with us! She was so excited and loves the singing, but Zoe did not take so well to having to sit still and was everywhere! Rob had to take her into the foyer where all the other little one's her age who were restless were running around playing!! Ava got to light the candle and sing to Jesus! She is such a great worshiper, she really gets into it!
The girls must have been really good this year! Santa brought them all kinds of goodies! Ava got her HAIR SALON and baby deer along with some clothes, a wooden clock, wooden dress up dolls, Barbie Musketeer, and a Musketeer dress up, crayons and stamps! Zoe got a little horse (named Sugar), some clothes, baby cd player, camera, blender, and train! That all just from SANTA, they got really spoiled! Grandma and Grandaddy broughts lots of goodies over as well for the girls, Ava got a bunch of pretty princess stuff and Zoe got a barney, teletubby, books, and a bunch of blocks to name a few. Then we went to Mamaw's to celebrate! Ava had such a good time playing with Brooke and Zoe was trying to do her share of keeping up with both of the girls! They were both very exhausted after all the festivities! We feel very blessed to have had such a wonderful Christmas together and are looking forward to exciting things in 2010!
Now that Zoe is walking, her and Ava have a good time chasing each other around the house. Zoe finds it extremely hilarious to hide behind my curtains and play peek a boo! I am looking forward to them being able to play together more and more as Zoe gets older, hard to believe it has already been a year! But what a great year it was! Even though there are a lot of difficult things going on in the world around us, we feel especially grateful for all the wonderful things given to us in 2009! We hope everyone had a blessed Christmas and may you all have a very Happy New Year!!
See you in 2010!!!!!!!!!! MAY GOD'S WILL BE DONE IN YOUR LIVES THIS YEAR!!
Here is one of my favorite verse's that I wanted to share with you.
Romans 12:2
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of the mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing, and perfect will.
God can Heal a Broken Heart but He has to have all the Pieces.
Isaiah 40:31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength, they will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

I haven't had my camera for a few weeks now so I have posted some pics that I took with my camera phone. We have been pretty busy lately and had a short trip to Jacksonville this past week. We are ready for the fall festivities to begin starting with Ava's trip to the pumpkin patch on Thursday with her school and then fall festivals. I hope to have my camera back this week so I can take some pictures for everyone. We hope everyone is doing well and we will post some more pictures as this is the start of the best part of the year!

ZOE GETS HER FIRST EARRINGS!
Zoe got her ears pierced yesterday and she didn't even cry. After the second one she wimpered up a bit but that wasy all! She is such a trooper! I don't know why I was so hesitant about getting them done. I guess I just want her to stay a baby forever. It made it much easier for me that she did so well. She also got her first bracelet with her name engraved on it from Grandma! And of course Ava had to get something too so she got a new pair of purple butterfly earrings compliments of Grandma!
